9 Luxury Editions for Your New Rental Space

If you’re planning to rent a new house or an apartment, you’ve come to the right place. There are a number of ways you can add a luxurious touch to your new rental space. And why not?

Don’t you want your new home to appear luxe? If yes, you’re in for a treat. The following are a few ways you can make your new rental space look extravagant. Have a look:

Choose a Theme

The theme of your house matters more than you know. If you want a luxurious space, the first thing that you need to do is choose a fine theme for your new rental space. If it’s spacious, go for a dark-colored theme.

In case it’s a small house or a studio apartment, you must choose a light-colored, subtle theme. It will give your house a spacious appearance, which is the rule no. one when it comes to decorating a house.

New Wallpaper

After choosing the theme, the first thing that you need to do is re-do the walls of your new rental space. For this, I suggest you buy wallpaper that goes well with your chosen theme.

There are plenty of wallpapers available in the markets these days, with different colors and patterns. Thus, finding a suitable one wouldn’t be a problem.

Other than that, if your budget allows, you can go for textured walls. It’s a relatively expensive option, but it can instantly make your space appear extravagant. Therefore, it’s indeed a great option.

Woodwork

Woodwork is exceptionally important when it comes to adding a luxe touch to your home or apartment. It’s one of the few things that can make your space appear cozy and comfortable at the same time.

Now you need to be careful when choosing the shade of the wood as it comes in a variety of colors, too. Make sure the color of the wood matches the theme of your new rental space.

I’m sure you wouldn’t want to make an amalgam of colors or do you? Hence, sticking to the theme is the key here.

Miscellaneous Additions

Apart from the big, obvious changes, there are certain miscellaneous additions that your new place requires. One of them is wall fixation. Whether it’s the plasma television, refrigerator, or oven, you must ensure it’s all fixed on the wall.

Wall fixation is quite common these days and guess what? It’s another thing that can make your new rental space appear extravagant, which is our goal for today.

Besides that, a few other things can make a difference. For example, you must have a thumb impression machine for your entrance door, a portable generator, and more. I got mine from the Generator Sage and I must say it was a wonderful investment.

Bedding and Curtains

I always pay special attention to my bedding and curtains. I feel like they make a strong impression on everyone. In fact, they determine the comfort of your home. Hence, they must be of high quality.

Start with the bedding in your bedrooms. Get new bedsheets, preferably the quilted ones, and new blankets, too. After that, move towards the curtains. Add new curtains in your lounge, dining area, and bedrooms.

The simple blinds are not going to cut it if you want your rental space to look luxurious. Thereby, you must go for beautiful patterns, florals, or geometric designs.

Indoor Plants

If you ask me; I always recommend keeping indoor plants in the house. Whether it’s a house in the countryside or an apartment in the downtown city area, indoor plants are mandatory.

They have dual benefits. They can not only add a touch of peace and tranquillity to your space but also make your new rental space appear comfortable as well as expensive.

Lemon balm, mint, rosemary, thyme, lavender, and spearmint are a few incredible indoor plants that you can purchase. They bring along bug-repelling qualities, so they’ll keep the rodents and bugs away.

Artwork

What’s the purpose of decorating your house if you’re not going to bring in some art pieces? Artwork is essential to make any space appear extravagant. Not to mention, art has a language of its own.

Millions of people around the world love arts and crafts. In fact, if they splurge on anything, it’s art. I would recommend you do the same.

Find some nice paintings and mini sculptures for your rental space. In case you’re on a budget, look for them at the thrift shops nearby, but skipping art pieces is not an option.

Area Rugs

Don’t forget about the area rugs whenever decorating your house or any space. Following a theme from the start to the end may create symmetry, but it can also make your space appear dull and boring.

To fix this issue, I suggest you add a pop of color to your space with the help of an area rug. For example, the theme of my apartment is charcoal grey.

Everything in my house is grey, except the area rugs. I have colorful area rugs in geometric prints for every room in my apartment. They add the required dash of color to my space, eliminating the monotony.

A Pleasant Scent

Last but not least, please ensure that your new rental space has a pleasant scent. It won’t matter how amazing your house looks or how many expensive additions you’ve made, it wouldn’t appeal to anyone if it doesn’t smell great.

It goes without saying that a pungent odor can make even the most expensive place intolerable. For this, I usually rely on Azuna odor removal products. They work magically well when it comes to providing your space with a welcoming fragrance.

The Takeaway

Whether it’s your own apartment or house or a rented space, decorating it should be nothing but fun. Winding it up, I want you to enjoy the process of decorating your new rental space.  Trust me; it will become a hundred times easier when you’ll start enjoying it. It’s as simple as that. Good luck, guys!
